I’m running because working people deserve a government that answers to them—not corporate PACs, lobbyists, or special interests. My platform is simple: lower costs, clean up politics, protect working families, and build a Michigan where everyone has a fair chance to thrive.

 

Lower the Cost of Living

Families are being squeezed by rising prices, high utility bills, rent, groceries, healthcare, and insurance. Lansing should be focused on making life more affordable.

As State Representative, I will fight to:

• Hold utility companies accountable for high rates and poor service

• Stop corporations from passing unnecessary costs onto working families

• Expand energy efficiency programs that lower monthly bills

• Support targeted tax relief for working-class and middle-class families

Bottom line: No one should have to choose between paying the bills and putting food on the table.

 

Clean Government: No Corporate PAC Money

I don’t take corporate PAC money because I believe elected officials should work for the people—not the corporations funding their campaigns.

I will support:

• Stronger limits on corporate PAC influence

• Full transparency in campaign donations

• Tougher ethics rules for elected officials

• Policies that put voters ahead of lobbyists

Bottom line: If we want government to work for people, we have to get corporate money out of politics.

 

Affordable Housing for Every Michigander

Housing should be stable, safe, and affordable. Too many families, seniors, and young people are being priced out of their own communities.

I will fight to:

• Expand affordable housing across Michigan

• Support first-time homebuyer assistance

• Provide property tax relief for seniors and working families

• Push back against corporate real estate speculation

• Protect renters from unfair and excessive rent increases

Bottom line: Housing should be a foundation for a better life—not a tool for Wall Street profits.

Healthcare You Can Afford

No one should go broke because they got sick. Healthcare is a basic need, and Michigan can do more to make care affordable and accessible.

I will support:

• Protecting and expanding Medicaid access

• Lowering prescription drug costs, including insulin

• Investing in mental health services

• Expanding access to local clinics and preventive care

• Requiring more transparency in healthcare pricing

Bottom line: Healthcare should be about care—not corporate profit.

Good Jobs, Fair Wages, and Worker Power

Michigan was built by workers. Our economy should reward hard work, not just corporate shareholders.

I will fight to:

• Raise wages for working people

• Protect union rights and collective bargaining

• Support apprenticeship and skilled trades programs

• Prioritize local hiring on state-funded projects

• Hold corporations accountable when they outsource jobs or exploit workers

Bottom line: If you work full-time, you should be able to live with dignity.

 

Invest in the Next Generation

Michigan’s future depends on how we invest in our children, schools, young workers, and communities today.

I will support:

• Stronger funding for public schools

• Universal pre-K and early childhood education

• Expanded trade school, apprenticeship, and career training opportunities

• More affordable community college and workforce education

• Safe, modern school buildings and classrooms

Bottom line: Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, no matter their ZIP code.
